Plato’s Fire is a jewellery brand for people who love the art, literature, and history of the ancient Mediterranean world.

It’s a romantic and nostalgic brand, drawing inspiration from the past while being firmly rooted in the present.

And Plato’s Fire’s debut collection encapsulates that ethos: thirteen pieces of jewellery inspired by the shapes of and motifs found on ancient Greek pottery; necklaces and earrings handcrafted using modern materials and techniques.

You’ll find amphorae, oinochai, and lekythoi: everyday vases once used in everyday Greek life, that have been excavated over the centuries and elevated to the status of untouchable museum artefacts, and now brought gently back down to earth to be handled and worn and adored.

Every piece in the collection has been handmade in the Plato’s Fire studio on the Fife coast in Scotland.
